DID

The "Gateways" section is used to connect external lines. This is necessary for receiving and making calls outside the system, as well as for the operation of such a function as "Mobility".

SIP gateways have different types of registration: Outbound, Inbound and without authentication - DID.

DID (Direct Inward Dialing) – without authentication. Registration session for this type of registration is not available. Validation of an incoming/outgoing call session occurs via an IP address, usually external and static. It is used for trusted addresses, for example, for communication between two offices of the same company.

Setting

Go to the "DID" section and click "New Gateway" to create a new DID gateway

Host – specified for outbound / DID gateways (Can be both IP address and domain name)

Interface - the interface used to access the external network

In most cases, these settings are sufficient for the gateway to work.
